Recently-transplanted to Los Angeles, Robby O'Connor is a film and television writer. His original pilot ADULTHOOD FOR BEGINNERS won the "Fox Comedy Script Contest" at the 2011 New York Television Festival and was in development with 20th Century Fox Television for the 2013/2014 season. He’s currently writing another original pilot NIGHTS & WEEKENDS with Scott Stuber's Bluegrass Films and producer Sarah Condon.

Before turning to writing, Robby worked as a development executive at Dimension Films and a book scout at Paramount Pictures. Since then he's made ends meet by “mannying” for a family with six children and working as a personal assistant to a hedge fund manager five years his junior (an experience that became the basis of NIGHTS & WEEKENDS).

Robby studied Literature at Yale University and wrote and illustrated his own weekly comic strip FILLER for The Yale Herald, to which he also contributed wildly digressive movie reviews.

Robby was born and raised in Manhattan and misses Sunday dinners with his parents.
